Happiness greets me at sunrise Childrens' faces look right in Lying on a hillside with my people Make things right Oceans of triumph passed by rivers Kiss my heart as you smile Thinking of the times and the places (All) through the night Times of passion Days of praise Fortune tellers begging for a raise Always looking for different ways to carry through the days Carry through the days Once I was happy with you Tie dye dress as you sun Wishing for the times where dreams lived By candlelight Times of passion Days of praise Fortune tellers begging for a raise Always looking for different ways to carry through the days Carry through the days

Gold 03:30
Wake me up in the morning While the day is still forming Have a cup before it gets cold And we’ll watch today unfold For all I know This is gold And you can search around this world For another Thing in life so earthly pure That leaves you wanting just a little more There’s nothing like it, you can be sure All it takes is a grain and a spark To make something so preciously dark A little alchemy filter Each sip so strong and bitter For all I know This is gold And you can search around this world For another Thing in life so earthly pure That leaves you wanting just a little more There’s nothing like it, you can be sure

A long time ago in a land far away And this never happened, some might say A boy named Kaldi lived with his goats And every day followed them round He played tunes on his pipe One of them to tell the herd When it was time to head home One day Kaldi was ready to go He played his tune but the goats didn’t come So he had to look around and in the distance he heard The sound of his goats in a lively mood They were running and messily Jumping and dancing Like no one had seen before Kaldi thought to himself My goats must have been bewitched This can only be the devil’s work That’s when he saw An unfamiliar tree Covered in red shiny fruits The goats kept coming back For more berries and leaves They never seemed to have enough Was it heaven-sent Or evil all along? It wasn’t easy getting the goats back But after a while he got them all in track And soon after that they started acting normal To Kaldi’s relief it wasn’t poisonous And if the goats have enjoyed it so Then why couldn’t Kaldi also give it a go The following day, he tried it for himself It tasted a little bitter, but he was feeling well This magical tree is so kind to your brain No one would ever feel tired or grouchy again

Maybe stay for some cake or something warm We can brew it A special love of mine A special love of mine Come on its not too late Its safe and dry We can brew it A special kind of ride A special kind of ride Everything else can wait Don’t rush home We can brew it And savor it through the night Savor it through the nights We’ll leave everyone out there I only think that’s fair Outside is just too frosty You better stay in here with some coffee If you’re not warm enough I can light the fire for us Outside is just too breezy We could make tonight so easy Its early if we wanted to Just wait until your lips touch the warm cup I poured you And you’ll change your mind You’ll change your mind Come on and stay til late Why be on your own? If we brew it Something special might arise

Are you in need of a break, of a time-out The spirit-lifting experience people are talking about Something to make getting out of bed worthwhile Work efficiently better, make everyone smile No consequences, go indulge yourself Have all at once what you’ve got stocked on the shelf You’ve never tasted finer, now that’s a fact Instant satisfaction or your money back In the unlikely event that you don’t agree Have we told you, you can get it for free? The unmistakable, distinctly flavorsome Quick, fresh, perfect every time Tantalizingly hearty, it’s almost a crime You’ve never tasted finer, now that’s a fact Instant satisfaction or your money back

about

"Coffee"

An Extended Play Release

by Welcome to the 21st!

This album is an indie rock/alternative masterpiece all about COFFEE, every adult's favorite hot (and sometimes cold) beverage.

The first song is Happiness Greets Me, like coffee greets you in the morning.

The second song is Gold, about how coffee is, essentially, the same as gold, and as valuable as gold for many of us who consume it (and even more so for those who sell it).

The third song is Kaldi and His Dancing Goats. If you ever wondered how, when, or where coffee was discovered, this song has the answer! According to folklore, coffee was discovered about 1,100 years ago in present-day Ethiopia by a young goat shepherd named Kaldi, who noticed his goats were dancing and playing in a frisky manner after eating these strange red berries from a plant that grew in the mountains where he herded his goats. Kaldi then tried the berries himself, and then showed them to his clan. The rest, as they say, is history.

The fourth song is Brewed Passions (We Can Brew It), an R&B inspired indie song with a jamming bassline about a romantic (coffee) encounter.

The fifth and final song is Instant Satisfaction!. The lyrics are taken from actual coffee advertisements from the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, and turned into an awesome rock song.

Enjoy, and feel free to purchase a hard copy (CD) or download. Let us know what you think! Recommend it to your favorite coffee shop to play or sell!

Thanks, Welcome to the 21st!
